About Me: The Alchemist Behind the Apron
Welcome to the hearth!
I’m Aarati Rebello, the curator of Clove and Cauldron.
For years, my world was defined by the fast-paced precision of the finance industry. While I spent my corporate life collecting recipes like treasures, they often remained tucked away in folders—untried and waiting for a “someday” that felt far off. Between spreadsheets and deadlines, the energy for a home-cooked feast was hard to find.
Early retirement changed everything.
Retiring to my home and hearth allowed me to finally trade my excel sheets for ladles. I discovered that the kitchen wasn’t just a place to prepare food; it was a sanctuary where I could finally find my comfort and passion. Now, I spend my days exploring the magic of spices and the joy of a slow-simmered meal.
At Clove and Cauldron, I share that journey with you. Whether you’re a busy professional dreaming of your own kitchen sanctuary or a fellow home cook looking for a bit of culinary inspiration, I’m here to show you that it’s never too late to stir up a new passion.
My purpose is to help you find the enchantment in your everyday meals. So grab a wooden spoon and let’s stir up something extraordinary together.
Cheers!!
Matthew 15:10 – 11; 15–20
10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. 11 What goes into a person’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”
15 Peter said, “Explain this parable to us.”
16 “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. 17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile a person.
(In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)
